1. Core principle: Your notes are yours
At MasterJot, we treat handwritten notes as strictly personal and sensitive information. We collect and process only what is strictly necessary to turn your handwriting into tasks and schedule your reminders.
2. Camera usage
Your device camera is only accessed when you deliberately tap the capture button to photograph a note. MasterJot never captures photos in the background or without your direct trigger.
3. Image processing and zero retention
Photos are processed solely to extract task titles, dates, reminder times, and tags. We do not keep permanent logs of your handwriting images, we never sell your data, and your private notes are never used to train public AI models.
4. Local reminders and offline operation
Scheduled alarms and reminders reside entirely on your device's operating system. Notifications trigger on time even without internet access or cellular signal.
5. Data deletion
You can delete your tasks and notes at any time directly in the app. For full account deletion, visit our Account Deletion page or contact support@masterjot.com.
